And Still It Rains............

All night and day it rained. This evening coming in from checking on the animals for one last time, it was a light mist brushing my cheeks................butterfly kisses.

Don't you love that mist? I could stand out in it for hours, everything smells so fresh, it makes Ayla's curly hair REALLY curly. I think we are in for some of your rain starting today. Your veggies look delicious and are so far ahead of ours!
Oh, what I wouldn't give for a longer growing season......
How many cuts of hay do you typically get?
What an adorable girl that Ayla is!

We usually get at least four cuttings. On a really, really good year, we might get five.

Wow, we don't typically get more than 2 cuts. Southern Maine probably gets more. My Dad would love that! He's our hay guy.

Tammy, your veggies are gorgeous! I've been thinking of you lately, and reading your last few posts, now I know why. I miss my boys, and I hope and pray that I get to hug them again...but we never know, do we? I pray that God continues to heal your heart and fill up all the empty spaces. Love ya!
