Blogging Evolution

I have been thinking lately about the evolutionary process of blogging. Before I knew about online blogging, I began writing a weekly farm journal and emailing it to family. Soon, I found that some friends were also interested in the day to day life of the farm and I began emailing it to them as well. When I found out about online blogging, it was just a natural progression for me. However, blogs tend to become stagnant and uninteresting with time unless some thought goes in to the daily entries. After taking an unintended break throughout most of the summer months and not posting entries on a regular basis, I have been thinking about ways to make my blog (hopefully) better.

In an attempt to facilitate better blogging skills, I have decided to have particular themes for each day of the week and to enter appropriate content in accorance with those themes.

Simply Sunday (short, inspirational quotes or stories)
Miscellaneous Monday
Tutorial Tuesday (information and articles on farming and livestock handling)
Wordless Wednesday (photos only)
This and That Thursday (anything goes)
Friday's Featured Farmer (a day to share the farming story of others in their own words)
Scrumptious Saturday (food based theme)

I am really excited about Friday's Featured Farmer. Currently, I have three submissions with wonderful photos and the promise of additional farming stories in the near future. If you have not submitted your story, I would love to hear from you!

I'm happy to see you are hoping to be bloggin more!! I've missed your posts over the summer, although understand, cause it's hard to blog when you are busy...although I seem to have more trouble blogging in the winter because of nothing good to blog about. LOL :)
